Representative Bankruptcy and Litigation Experience

Sometimes parties believe that the Bankruptcy Court erred in its factual findings, legal conclusions, or both. In some such instances, parties will pursue further relief through appeals to the appropriate appellate court. The firm has meaningful experience representing interested parties in such bankruptcy appeals. Three examples follow.

Counsel to Chapter 7 trustee; successfully litigated in Bankruptcy Court and on appeal to the District Court the estate's entitlement to the increase in cash value of the debtor's insurance policy. Resulted in published opinions by the Bankruptcy Court and the District Court.
